GKYB 2007 in Video : Episode 3: Cavite Youth Build

One of the best things that happened during the GKYB 2007 experience was meeting 21 other friends and building with them a future of hope for today's youth and for the Philippines!

Our groups, with Dondi and Bai acting the roles of Ate and Kuya, met for the first time last Thursday, July 19 but if it was as if we knew each other for years. The Cavite build was composed of 2 teams now - the GKYB-Canada and Norson (US) as well as 21 Youth For Christ members from UAE, Saudi Arabia and Syria. The 2 teams came from the East and the West to prove that "youth is not wasted on the young"!

The experience was exhilirating. The video can speak for itself!

We miss our friends from the Middle East - we hope to do another build with you guys soon!

Hey Guys! Thanks for sharing the video! It's awesome (I must agree with Norson!)... Btw, I showed this to Ate Bai. She wants to have a copy of the video... Can you please send one for her? Hope to see all of you guys! Great job! God bless all of you and your families. =) Myra

That was great --- it showed that the Build was not just hardwork but also a lot of fun and an opportunity to meet other like-minded young people from other parts of the world. GKYB will schedule two Builds in 2008. Convince your friends and families to join. Download the application from from the GKYB website. - Maripi, GKYB volunteer from Toronto

Hello Norson and Myra,

Awesome is not the video - but the experience and you were there to make that happen!

Will send a CD your way for your copies. This is a 7-episode epic :P

Hi Maripi, thank God for all your relentless efforts...we have 3-4 more volunteers signing up for 2008. God has given this opportunity to be fishers of men and that's a big role to do...same as what Myra and Norson are doing in their own stewardships.
